Happy New Year to my family, friends, and those following my blog. I hope everyone’s year is filled with blessings. This year we spent New Year’s with my brother-in-law and his family in Whitecourt, AB. We had a nice, low-key evening with plenty of food. We played a few games in which I was the overall victor š Then watched Four Christmases before catching the countdown on TV. This morning we had waffles and then went for a nice walk through the woods. We saw a deer along the way, which was a bit of a surprise considering we had their extremely excitable dog Chloe with us. She has crazy eyes, but is the friendliest dog I’ve ever met.

Hi Steve…nice blog; have fun with it! You and I must have been doing the same thing today, as I just started a blog also…mine is more to keep track of my stitching year, but will also post pictures and misc. stuff.
