Here’s a series of shots taken of the Edmonton downtown skyline. Not the typical angle from across the river, but rather from the northwest and quite some distance away. For the moon shots, I used a tool called The Photographer’s Ephemeris to figure out where and when I would need to be to capture the moon rising behind downtown. I wanted to get this from far away to give the illusion that the moon was much larger than it appeared to the naked eye. I did some HDR processing on these images to balance the light a little better.
