Today we have what is considered to be the most dangerous of the big five. Not the lion, as some might guess, but the Cape Buffalo, also referred to as water buffalo. Wikipedia mentions their dangerous reputation, and our guides said the same thing. Our tracker on our game drives was once treed by a buffalo that came after him. We saw quite a few of them particularly on one day of our game drives, but nothing as dramatic as a huge herd crashing across a river or anything like that. Anyway, here’s a few of my best shots.
