And now the moment you’ve all been waiting for….well, at least some of you perhaps… King of the Beasts, the lion! We were lucky enough to see a few different lions on our game drives. The female pictured below came within a few feet of our jeep before suddenly taking off. That was a bit of an adrenaline rush! For the most part, they were pretty relaxed though. They get used to the size, shape and noise of the jeeps. However, we were told in no uncertain terms to not stand up and at certain times to not even talk. Standing up would change the profile of the jeep and would make the lions suddenly pay attention to it which then becomes dangerous.
