The other hike that we took when we were in Jasper a week and a bit ago was to the Valley of the Five Lakes. It’s quite a nice hike, just a little ways south of the town site. It has the option of a shorter or longer loop depending on how much time you have to spend. We only had time for the short loop, which was about 4.5k if I remember correctly. We took the trail to the right, which led us around the lakes in reverse order of how they are named. The neat thing about these lakes is they all have a slightly different colour to them, some more blue, some more green. So, here’s number five, the first one we came to.
