This was the first spot we hiked to from the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park. It wasn’t a very long walk actually, but we had to park a ways down the road because the lot was full. I went below under the bridge to get this shot from a somewhat better angle than up top. Fortunately the falls were mostly in the shade which helped me to get a bit of a longer exposure. That’s how you get the nice silky appearance in the water. I could have used my neutral density filter to do that even more so, but I already took a fair amount of time as it was. Also, I think it looks a little more realistic if the water isn’t too smoothed out.
