Well, my wife and I are back from visiting the Palm Springs area and we had a great trip. This is one of my favorite photos that I took while we were there. Just south of Palm Desert there is this great highway called the Roy Wilson Memorial Hwy. It’s marvelously twisty and has a couple of great lookout points. I was able to set up my tripod and get this long exposure shot of the really bendy bits shortly after sunset. I used a combination of about 15 shots to get this. Most of them were around 30 second exposures, but the last one was just over 4 minutes and it really brought every thing together nicely. Fortunately there was a fair amount of traffic so I was able to get the entire section lit up with headlights and taillights.
Camera: Canon EOS 60D, Exposure Time: 10-240s, Aperture: f/11, ISO: 100, Focal Length: 13mm
