Here’s a shot of my wife by the pool where we stayed in Palm Desert. Well, actually it’s 10 shots, all merged into one. I set the camera on my tripod and then got her to wander around the pool as I snapped shots at various times. It was relatively easy to stack them afterwards and selectively erase the sections where she was on the next photo underneath.
