Day 3 in Oahu we decided to do a little exploring so we hopped in the Camaro convertible we rented and headed west. We had no particular destination in mind and were in no hurry, so we stopped at various lookouts and beaches along the way. One place we actually did want to stop was Hanauma Bay, but guess what? It’s closed on Tuesdays. So that was kind of a bummer, but there were some other nice places we saw. As we rounded the north shore and started south again there was a huge backup in traffic. We figured everyone must have been heading down to Pearl Harbor for Veteran’s Day, so we bailed out and took the scenic way back again.
If you enjoy my photographs please consider making a purchase. All of the proceeds from the sale will go directly to help support our friends volunteering at the Seed of Hope in South Africa which is a great organization really making a difference in the community. Every little bit makes a difference, even a small digital download for your desktop!
Holana Cove is my favorite out of these, but all are excellent. Wish I could jump in that wave. š
Thanks Sue, I know that wave just looks so inviting, doesn’t it? š
