Today’s random number ended up right in the middle of the sequence of shots that I used to create this star trail image. I figured I might as well show you the final product rather than one picture of some stars over a golf course. Over 300 individual photographs were taken to create this image.
Camera: Canon EOS 60D, Exposure Time: 30s * 318, Aperture: f/3.5, ISO: 200, Focal Length: 10mm
If you enjoy my photographs please consider making a purchase. All of the proceeds from the sale will go directly to help support our friends volunteering at the Seed of Hope in South Africa which is a great organization really making a difference in the community. Every little bit makes a difference, even a small digital download for your desktop!
300 photos! That’s a lot of patience!
Well, it sounds like it, but in reality I just set it up out on the balcony, locked down the cable shutter release and let it go and went back inside to watch TV!
Smart! Hmmmm. Might have to give that a try. š
Patent Pending! š
Oopsies! :). I have no photo shop skills anyway.
It’s actually really easy, I use a free program called StarStaX to merge them all.
Cool! I’ll check it out. Thanks!
I enjoyed both times you posted this masterpiece
Thanks Rebecca!
