Today’s random number photo 1138 is of the Third Lake at the Valley of the Five Lakes. It’s a little bigger than the Fourth Lake, which you can see just a little of behind it. That’s how close these two are to each other. It has a similar colour to the Fourth Lake, and the thing I found interesting about this lake is the way it gets a little deeper very quickly all around the edge. That gives the rapid light to dark colour change that you can see in the photo. It reminded me of when you see a map with the different colours indicating the topography. I also liked this point of view that showed the mountains coming up in the background.
Camera: Canon EOS 60D, Exposure Time: 1/500, Aperture: f/11, ISO: 200, Focal Length: 50mm
