Here is a so-so attempt at capturing a red-wing blackbird in flight. I still have a lot of practice to get in before I’m good at these. I can’t help wondering if a better camera than the 60D would help with focus and tracking, or if it’s all me.
Camera: Canon EOS 60D, Exposure Time: 1/500, Aperture: f/8, ISO: 100, Focal Length: 350mm
If you enjoy my photographs please consider making a purchase. All of the proceeds from the sale will go directly to help support our friends volunteering at the Seed of Hope in South Africa which is a great organization really making a difference in the community. Every little bit makes a difference, even a small digital download for your desktop!
Seeing as your crappy photos are twenty times better than my good photos, I got no advice for you. But I do look forward to seeing your other attempts!
Haha, thanks Sue!
We were on the same wavelength today (throughmylens365.wordpress.com). My goal is to get a red-winged blackbird in flight. Very pretty.
Ha, that’s funny. You know I think I’ve noticed that has happened before as well where we have posted something similar on the same day. Weird!
