I know I’m several days late with a Happy New Year post, just been lazy with the blog the past couple weeks. Anyway, hope 2016 is a great one for everybody. Merry Christmas everyone, have a safe and enjoyable holiday! We don’t really do gifts anymore, so Hiro was the only present under our tree this year. It’s his new favourite place to sleep when we’re in the room. Not sure why, but both cats just love being close to the tree.

We decided to set up our little artificial Christmas tree this year to see how the cats would react to it. It took about an hour for Kemuri to be halfway up inside, chewing on it.

Here’s a few abstract Christmas tree shots I took on Christmas Day. The first one is a fiber optic tree only a foot tall, the others are of a full 6 foot tree. I kept them out of focus to get some nice bokeh out of the lights.

Aluminum Show

Here’s something a little different. A couple of the photos I took at the Aluminum Show at the exhibition last year. I love the way beams of light look going through haze. It was a pretty cool show considering it was free with admission to the park.
