I’ve been inspired recently by a fellow blogger by the name of Don Charisma. He does a lot of great panorama shots and it made me want to shoot some more and have a second look at some of the previous ones I’ve tried. This is a reworking of one my panorama attempts from 2012. This time, it was stitched with Microsoft ICE from 12 vertical orientation photos, enhanced a bit with Gimp. The end result turned out pretty good, with a final image size of 13530×4510 pixels. I really wanted to use some HDR on it, so I saved 2 sets of the images at different exposure values, but not one of my stitching programs would give me the same size final image. Somehow they all joined the lighter set and the darker set differently so that it was pretty much impossible to line them up properly. So in the end I just had to pick one and do some simple brightness/contract adjustments.

Camera: Canon EOS T1i, Exposure Time: 1/800, Aperture: f/9, ISO: 800, Focal Length: 28mm
