I like photographing birds, but it is challenging. They are relatively small and tend to not stay in one place very long. It also didn’t help being in a moving vehicle and having an overcast sky for some of these shots. It was nice seeing some different species that we just don’t have in North America though.

Love the pink and blue bird! Adorable! My preferred photographic subjects are trees and rocks because they don’t move around much…lol.
Yeah I wish I could have seen more of those ones. It’s called a lilac-breasted roller and for some reason this one looks really fat compared to what you see if you do a Google image search for them.
Maybe she likes cake as much as I do. 🙂
