Victoria Falls was amazing. There was so much mist we got drenched. I wasn’t really prepared for that and I had a hard time keeping my camera relatively dry.
If you enjoy my photographs please consider making a purchase. All of the proceeds from the sale will go directly to help support our friends volunteering at the Seed of Hope in South Africa which is a great organization really making a difference in the community. Every little bit makes a difference, even a small digital download for your desktop!
These are gorgeous.
Thanks Maralee!
I can’t wait to visit Victoria Falls. These photos make me want to visit all the sooner
It’s definitely worth it. My only regret was that due to being part of a tour group we only had a limited amount of time to spend there. I wouldn’t have felt safe without a group of people though, the town is pretty dodgy.
I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks for the advice
No problem. See my discussion with El Rolyat below for a link on the tour we went with.
I love that black and white one – quite different.
I’d be interested to know where you stayed in Vic Falls – or did you stay in Livingstone in Zambia?
Thanks! I believe we stayed at the Ilala Lodge. This is the tour we were on: http://www.globusjourneys.com/Product.aspx?trip=4QS.
Sounds like a wonderful tour.
I live 30 minutes drive from Victoria Falls, on the Zambian side. In my opinion the Zimbabwean experience beats the Zambian one a thousand-fold and I always advise prospective travellers to go to Zimbabwe rather than Zambia. Besides everything else it’s a lot cheaper. But then Zimbabwe was my home until 8 years ago, so perhaps I am biased 😉
Yeah it was a good tour, we got to see a lot of different places. I can’t comment on which side is better, so I will accept your opinion as reliable, if possibly biased 🙂
